ABC Cooking Travel has a partnership with Maison Landemaine, which operates stores in Paris, France. We will introduce you to a hands-on program where you can actually go into the kitchen of a boulangerie, patisserie or restaurant in Paris and work with local craftsmen to produce products for sale.

Message

This program is an upgraded version of the study abroad coordination business established in 2004 by Yoshimi Isikawa Landemaine, together with ABC Cooking Travel. Yoshimi is a President of Maison Landemaine Japon and she has been working with owner patissier Rodolph Landemaine to open stores in Paris.
We offer a food-focused study abroad program that has sent out more than 1,000 students in total so far.

Program

For those who love baking and pastry making, or for those who want to experience a different kind of travel, we recommend the "Short-Term Homestay & Experience Paris Tour" that you can join in between sightseeing. You can enter the kitchen of a Parisian boulangerie or patisserie and experience the actual business.
You can experience French food culture as it really is by interacting directly with the French craftsmen, the French people who come to buy bread every morning, and your host family. You can also participate with your family or friends.

Maison Landemaine

Maison Landemaine Paris, opened in 2006 by pastry chef Rodolphe and boulanger Yoshimi Ishikawa, is one of the most talked about boulangerie and patisserie in Paris.
In 2011, it was awarded Boulangerie of the Year by Pudlo Paris, one of the three major gourmet guides, and in 2018, it was ranked in the top 15.
Maison Landemaine Japon was also voted Best Croissant Japan in 2015.
The number of stores has been expanding year by year, and currently there are 17 stores in France. In 2015, their first store in Japan was opened in Azabudai, and the second store was opened in Akasaka in 2018.
It is a boulangerie and patisserie that prides itself on its commitment to 100% handmade products that respect traditional methods.
